Kurukshetra University holds a State Level Eligibility Test for Lectureship in July, for recruitment as Lecturers in Universities and Colleges in the subjects of English, Panjabi, History, Economics, Public Administration, Law, Mathematics including Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Defence / Strategic Studies including International Relations, Music,

Physical Education, Library & Information Science, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology, Social Work,  Education, Visual Art (Fine Arts), Computer Applications, Mass Communication/Journalism, Sociology, Earth Science (Geology, Geophysics and Atmospheric & Oceanic) and Electronic Science

Eligibility: Candidates who are Indian Nationals and are in possession of the following academic qualification from this University or its equivalent examination of a recognised University /Institution/ Council are eligible to apply for the SLET in the subject detailed above.

1. Master's Degree Examination with at least 55% marks.

2. Already passed Previous/Part-l Examination of the Master's Degree and have appeared at the final/Part-II Examination and whose result of final Part is still awaited.

3. Already passed Previous/Part-I Examination of the Master's Degree and will be appearing at the Final/Part-II Examination in the ensuing Examination this year.

4. Already passed Master's Degree Examination obtaining less than 55% marks and have appeared for improvement of Result/Score     prior to the date of the SLET Examination.

Note:
Candidates with regard to Sr. No.2 - 4 above is provisional and their SLET result, incase they qualify is declared only on production of having passed the qualifying Master's Degree with at least 55% marks. Candidates, who do not fulfil the above eligibility conditions and are failure to produce the a Master's Degree certificate with at least 55% marks, have no legal right to claim for the refund of Test fee and their SLET result.
