Joint Preliminary Eligibility Test

Punjab University, Chandigarh conducts Joint Preliminary Eligibility Test for Recruitment as Lecturers/Librarians/Assistant Librarians. The Panjab University conducts Joint Preliminary Test during April at Chandigarh, Amritsar and Patiala for determining eligibility of candidates for recruitment as Lecturers/Librarians/Assistant Librarians in the University/Colleges in State of Punjab and U.T. of Chandigarh.

Eligibility:

(i) The test is open to all such candidates who have secured at least 55 % marks in the Master's Degree or equivalent examination, in the concerned subject

(ii) Candidates who have appeared/ are appearing in the qualifying Master's Degree Examination may also apply for admission to the test. However, their candidature is considered provisional uptil they provide evidence of having passed the Master's Degree Examination with the requisite percentage of marks as in (i) above. The 'Handbook of Information' comprising Part A (for all candidates) and Part B (separate for each subject), containing rules/syllabus/sample questions/ application form etc. on sale from February and can be had on payment of requisite charges from the Cashier, Punjab University, Chandigarh
